Keren Mikanda is not Keren Mikanda.
She is interested in exploring how we conceive of the self, also known as our ego. Through the use of images and video, her work investigates the precarious construction of identity—examining how the beliefs we hold about ourselves, however fragile or illusory, manifest real and lasting consequences in the material world.
